Department of Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology)

The research Lab is furnished with state-of-the-art facilities like a 3D printer, PCB CNC engraver, MATLAB, and various other tools for the researchers and students to take up various research activities. Moreover, the lab also focuses on collaborating with the researchers of the A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences to develop various medical-related projects.

The Laxmi memorial education trust funds up to 1 lakhs for various projects collaborated with A J Institute of Medical Sciences. The department of ECE has received funds upto 3 lakks for the medical related projects . Many projects are also applied for patents.

The VLSI LAB aims to teach fundamental and advanced VLSI circuit design principles in digital and analog mains. It conducts UG/PG practicals, conducts research at M.S and PhD levels, and provides hands-on design experience using professional design platforms like Synopsys Tanner EDA, Nexys 4: Artix 7 FPGA Kit, Zed Board, and Xilinx Vivado.

Digital signal processing (DSP) is a method of analyzing and modifying signals to extract desired information. It involves applying mathematical and computational algorithms to convert real-world signals into digital and discrete data, resulting in a higher-quality signal than the original signal. This process aims to extract useful information from the digital data.

A microprocessor and microcontroller lab teaches students about the architecture, programming, and interfacing of microprocessors and microcontrollers. It involves hands-on activities using kits like the 8085 and 8051, and helps develop programming skills in assembly language and possibly Embedded C, depending on course requirements. Common microcontroller applications include the 8085 and 8051. The lab also offers The lab aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers.

The communication laboratory in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at AJIET is one of the core hardware laboratories. In this laboratory, our students are trained for constructing the circuits for analog and digital modulations. The concepts of all type of modulation & demodulation, and recent communication techniques are demonstrated using available hardware and software. Students also conduct Microwave experiments in the Microwave Test Bench and also learn how to handle and make appropriate measurements using optic fiber kit and temperature trainer kit.
