Character building is the main aim of education and the AJIET lays great emphasis on good character and decent behaviour from every student. The College Discipline Committee takes keen interest to maintain discipline and order in and outside college campus during the college working hours.
Discipline Committee is responsible to maintain the discipline in the college, and also to maintain the healthy atmosphere in the college premises. The committee tries its best to inculcate among students, teachers and non-teaching staff right moral, social, intellectual attitude to build a college community of integrity and responsibility. It also wants to uphold the academic integrity and good name of the college in and outside the College campus. The committee will assist the college authorities in its efforts to completely eradicate use of alcohol and other drugs, eve teasing, physical violence against students and fellow residents, etc. Indulging in such criminal and anti-social activities will attract strictest disciplinary action including dismissal. Regular counseling is done to the needy students by the staff members.
The main objectives and Functionalities of the Discipline Committee are as follows :
- To maintain proper discipline in the college premises.
- To uptake measures for inappropriate behaviour including progressive discipline comprising suspension and expulsion where necessary.
- To maintain moral and ethnic students among the students, teachers and non-teaching staff.
- To create an attitude of social responsibility among the students.
- To clearly define the student-teacher relationship.
- To strictly prohibit smoking and other unhealthy practices within the College campus.
- To maintain a sense of decency in physical appearance (About Dress code.)
- To restrict loitering, noise-making and idling inside the college campus.
- To frame the rules and regulations of the committee.
- To make sure that all the students are aware of the discipline of the college and campus.
- To encourage the students to maintain discipline wherever necessary.
- If any indiscipline found by any of the students, warn them on the first instance. Take disciplinary action based on the Rules and Regulations of the committee, if found with indisciplined behaviour by the same students repeatedly.
- To assist the college anti-ragging committee in preventing ragging in the College and to spread anti-ragging campaign throughout the students community.

Rules & Regulations
All candidates who secure admission in the college are deemed to have agreed to all the rules and regulations, given hereunder and such other rules and regulations as to be added, or amended from time to time. If any indiscipline found by any of the students, the committee warn them on the first instance. Take disciplinary action based on the Rules and Regulations of the committee, if found with indiscipline behavior by the same students repeatedly. All the students must follow the dress code as per the college norms. Students should maintain strict discipline inside the class rooms as well as in the college campus. They should keep the class rooms/college campus neat and tidy. Smoking and consuming any kind of drugs in the college campus is strictly prohibited.
- Students should display identity cards on person during their stay in the college campus.
- No student shall leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher or until the class is over.
- Students should keep their vehicles only at the places allotted for that purpose.
- Two wheelers should wear helmet and Triple Riding is not allowed.
- Students should not bring any unauthorized persons into the campus.
- Any student involved in breaking or damaging any college property shall be punished severely.
- Students are prohibited from resorting to strikes and demonstrations, as it shall automatically result in suspension from the college.
- Students are prohibited organizing any meetings or entertainment programmes or collection of money for any purpose within the college or outside the college without the permission of the Principal.
- Students are expected to behave well with the, staff, other students and general public.
