National Innovation & Startup Policy @ AJIET
The ‘National Innovation and Start-up Policy-2019' initiated by the Ministry of Education (MoEs) for students and faculty members in Higher Education Institutes (HEIs). This policy intends to guide HEIs for promoting students’ and faculty members to promote and engage in innovation and start-up activities within the campus. The policy also aims at enabling HEIs to build, streamline and strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in campus.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) also promoted NISP through MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program in collaboration with AICTE to inculcate the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in the institute. Primarily, IICs’ role is to engage a large number of faculty, students and staff in various innovation and entrepreneurship related activities such as ideation, Problem solving, Proof of Concept development, Design Thinking, IPR, project handling and management at Pre-incubation/Incubation stage, etc.

Mission
- To create an ecosystem for Entrepreneurial training.
- To promote the students and faculty members to be part of entrepreneurial activity.
- To provide training on entrepreneurial and business oriented skills.
- To motivate and encourage students and faculty members to be an ethical and dynamic entrepreneur during their business processing model.
