TECHNO WEEK 2022

About the Program: Department of civil Engineering in association with Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (INDIA) and The Ramco Cement Limited and ISTE had conducted TECHNO WEEK-2022- TECHNICAL TALK ON CORROSION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE. The session was lively and the speaker had explained neatly about Corrosion that occurs when the protective layer in concrete steel reinforcement is destroyed. Steel in concrete is usually protected against corrosion by the high pH of the surrounding portland-cement paste.

Er. Suraj, Er. Ajith, Er. Subramanya from ACCE and Ramco cement Limited were the part of the event. Dr. Suman K, HOD department of Civil Engineering had addressed the gathering and motivated students through her words. In total 65 participants took part in the event and the event was grand success.
